potipot island
Saturday, March 8, 2008The Philippine archipelago holds 7,107 islands (cue Charlene asking, "Hight tide or low tide?"). And as the first kiss of the summer sun seduced us, some of my girlfriends and I decided to explore one of them–Potipot Island.
Beach time was a bit dampened by gray skies and I was worried most about two things–how I’ll be able to take good photos and get a gorgeous tan. I gave up on the latter thinking I’d have more time to get that during my Holy Week vacation. But thanks to Ixy, I was able to capture some of the island’s beauty despite the lack of good lighting.
I decided to experiment a bit and use my beloved digicam’s blue filter. Here are some of my favorite photos:

Potipot is a very beautiful island. We went there and it was worth the long trip. We stayed in Sun Bloom Beach Resort (http://sunbloom.multiply.com) and the people from that resort are very accommodating.
For those who want to go to Potipot, I suggest that you reserve a room a month in advance.
