a penny for my thoughts

The first thing that entered my mind when I woke up this morning was, "Lord, thank you.  I am blessed."

Now, mind you, I'm not a religious person.  I don't go to church every Sunday and I don't join my family in praying the rosary (now you know why I'm The Prodigal Daughter).  But I woke up today with every bone in my body telling me that everything is falling into place.  Family, friends, career.  Life's been good lately.  It's not yet great, but I'm getting there. As for romance…um, let me get back to you on that :p

Nevertheless, I like the way things are right now and I wouldn't have them any other way :)
