What made me squeal this morning:

I remember Queen Bee and I used to complain that you can only post very few photos in Friendster.  I mean, being the camwhore that we are, 50 just ain't enough!  Especially 'pag may pinagpapakyutan kami, bwahaha!  But when I opened my account this morning, I saw what could probably be the best surprise in cyberworld this year—YOU CAN NOW POST UP TO A HUNDRED PHOTOS IN FRIENDSTER!!! Yahooooooooooo!

Fine, fine.  OA na 'to.  But, see?  Mababaw lang naman kaligayahan ko eh :p

A few hours later, I browsed around Ate Ains's files and saw this:

I am just so excited!  I remember going gaga over Neil Gaiman's Mirrormask.  At first I wasn't quite sure if Gaiman's writing would translate well on screen, but it did!  I don't know though if that could be a gauge for Stardust the Movie's outcome because Mirrormask was intentionally written for the big screen.  Stardust, on the other hand, is a novel to start with and, well, we know how disappointing it can be when moviemakers fail to transform fantastic reads into good movies (just like Harry Potter:  The Prisoner of Azkaban.  It wasn't able elaborate on one of the most important element in the film–Harry's relationship with Sirius Black).

I'm currently rereading my illustrated copy of Stardust and just can't put it down (parang 'di ko pa nababasa eh!).  I just hope Matthew Vaughnn does justice to this wonderful epic.
