a bad case of last song syndrome

Met up with PJ last night to watch Jam's Musicfest in Metrowalk.  Was still wheezing and sneezing but after being bedridden for two days (which was, by the way, self-imposed), I was itching for some low-key Friday night gimmick.  There were about 15 bands playing that night and Sandwich was just starting with their set when I arrived.  When the popular tunes of their song "Sugod" began blasting through the speakers, the crowd went wild.  Come chorus, they went wilder.  I found myself jamming along, bobbing my head to the rhythm of the band and the crowd's "Sugod mga kapatid!  Tayo ay magsama-sama!"  A few seconds later though, I found myself humming something else–"Sugod, kasama si Chiz!" 

Que horror!  We hear and see those political ads on TV every five to ten minutes and now they're running through my head!  Geez.  Sheesh.  Chiz.  Chiz??! Gah!

Can't wait for elections to be over.
