O ha, sosyal! Hehe, o tama na ang gaguhan! :p
Except for the 30-minute search for the famed lighthouse, the trip wasn't actually as adventurous as the pictures look…we just pose real well (another "hehe" goes here!).
We left Manila around 3:30am. Pat and I was asleep the whoooole time (what's new??) and hardly felt the length of the drive to San Antonio, Zambales. We arrived at Megan's Resort in Pundaquit beach around 8:00am and immediately set of to Capones Island.
Clear waters. The water was calm all throughout which was perfect. The last time I was in Zambales, Capones Island was off-limits because of the choppy waves.
Frustrated Hawaian Tropic Models. We had to battle semi-violent waves just so we could do sultry poses atop the slippery rocks.
Obviously, we weren't successful!
The Search for the Lighthouse. Two hours later, we decided to look for the famed lighthouse. We had absolutely no idea where it was. Eh matitigas ang mga ulo namin. So we searched for it anyway.
Dead end. 45 minutes later…still no lighthouse! But we thought, what the heck! The view provided for a great photo op, so camwhore we did.
Baby sea urchins. On the way back to "camp," we saw these little beauties. (L) Shot of sea urchin without flash, (R) Shot of sea urchin using flash in slow synchro.
Inuman na!!! But of course! The trip wouldn't be complete without getting stupidly drunk (I could just hear Conrad say, "Eh pa'no naman ako hindi umiinom??"). So after a three-hour power nap, we headed outside for some videoke fun.
Birit queens. Patay tayo diyan…(L) Pat singing her famous videoke song, "Basang-basa Sa Ulan," (R) Me singing "La Isla Bonita" while downing my fifth glass of rum Coke. Sorry, nabulabog ang buong Pundaquit!
Rock on, Dude! Lasing na 'yang mga 'yan. Obvious ba?
Brunch. Judging from the number of five peso coins we consumed, we sang about 20 songs each (God bless our neighbors!). Naturally, our original 8am breakfast was moved to 10am.
Fiesta! Around noon, we headed to Pat's auntie's farm just 15 minutes away from Megan's Resort. Pucha, piyesta! We fed on seafood, greens, and a lot of the famous mangga ng Zambales.
Razon's Halo-halo. Eh hindi pa kami nakuntento. On the way back to Manila, we stopped by Razon's Famous Halo-halo and cooled our stomachs with their delicious specialty.
At the end of the trip, we all got what we wanted–a nice golden tan and happy stomachs

according to ate virgie (of megan’s), there’s a hill you have to climb pa raw in order to reach the lighthouse. nasa other side daw kasi siya. so dapat medyo malakas ang resistensya hehe.
razon’s is everywhere! sa pampanga
meron din sa gas station sa may NLEX.
ok, inggit na ako…=( it’s summer na talaga…i want the beach!!!

Koryn! Next time we go here, let’s really look for the lighthouse na.
We’ll try to check our Razon’s. Where is it exactly? We’ll go back there on the 25th. Day trip lang…try to see if we can surf. Wanna come?
